Peeping sex

A Florida man has been arrested after a 'peeping Tom' who spied on a couple having sex was beaten to death. Victor Vickery, 30, was arrested on a manslaughter charge on Monday local time , bringing a month investigation by Fort Lauderdale police to a close. Vickery told police that in July , he was "getting intimate" with his girlfriend Samantha Hobi in bed at her house when he heard what sounded like someone scratching and pulling at the bedroom window. He says he ran outside, naked and barefoot, where he found year-old Asaad Akar, whose pants were unzipped, exposing his genitals. He proceeded to fight the man, kicking and punching him several times. When officers arrived at Hobi's home after she called police, they found Vickery covered in blood and icing his swollen foot.

A group of parents held a registered sex offender accused of peeping under a bathroom stall at a South Carolina restaurant until cops arrived to arrest him, police said. The girl told her father what happened after leaving the bathroom, prompting him to ask a female employee to get Lane out of the restroom.

Voyeurism is the sexual interest in or practice of watching other people engaged in intimate behaviors, such as undressing, sexual activity , or other actions usually considered to be of a private nature. The term comes from the French voir which means "to see". A male voyeur is commonly labelled as "Peeping Tom" or a "Jags", a term which originates from the Lady Godiva legend. The American Psychiatric Association has classified certain voyeuristic fantasies, urges and behaviour patterns as a paraphilia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual DSM-IV if the person has acted on these urges, or the sexual urges or fantasies cause marked distress or interpersonal difficulty.

Napier himself was too aware of a Peeping-Tom unseemliness in looking in upon these privacies to stand there watching. It remained for "Peeping-Tom" to think of a gas-mask in connection with this scheme. One who derives pleasure, usually sexual, from secretly spying on others. See voyeurism.
